What is the Working Principle Diaphragm Filter Press?
Diaphragm Filter Press is a filter press with an elastic film installed between the filter plate and the filter cloth. In the process of use, when the feeding is over, the high-pressure fluid or gas medium can be injected into the diaphragm plate, at which time the entire diaphragm will bulge to compress the filter cake, and then realize the further dehydration of the filter cake, which is usually called pressing filtration.
First of all, positive pressure dehydration, also known as slurry dehydration. A certain number of filter plates are tightly arranged in a row under the action of strong mechanical force, the filter plate surface and the filter plate surface form a filter chamber, the filter material is sent into the filter chamber under strong positive pressure, the filter material entering the filter chamber The solid part of the filter material is intercepted by the filter medium (such as the filter cloth) to form a filter cake, and the liquid part is discharged through the filter medium, so as to achieve the purpose of solid-liquid separation, with the increase of positive pressure pressure, solid-liquid separation is more thorough, but from the energy and cost considerations, Excessive positive pressure is not cost-effective.
After the slurry is dehydrated, the filter press equipped with a rubber extrusion membrane, the compression medium (such as gas, water) enters the back of the extrusion membrane and pushes the extrusion membrane to further dehydrate the extruded filter cake, which is called extrusion dehydration. After slurry dehydration or extrusion dehydration, the compressed air enters the filter cake on one side of the filter chamber filter cake, and carries the liquid moisture from the other side of the filter cake to discharge the filter chamber and dehydrates, which is called wind blowing and dehydration. If both sides of the filter chamber are covered with a filter cloth, the liquid part can be evenly drained from the filter cloth on both sides of the filter chamber, and the filter chamber is dehydrated on both sides.
After the dewatering is completed, the mechanical pressing force of the filter plate is lifted, and the filter plate is gradually pulled apart by a single piece, and the filter chamber is opened separately for cake unloading for a main work cycle. According to the different properties of the filter material, the filter press can be set up separately for slurry dehydration, extrusion dehydration, wind blowing dehydration or single and double-sided dehydration, the purpose is to minimize the moisture of the filter cake.
