The Working Principle of Bar Screen 

JX-SHG series Bar Screen is an equipment for water treatment that can continuously and automatically intercept and remove various shapes of waste in the fluid, which can be widely used in urban sewage treatment. 

Bar screen work as a pre-screening equipment not only water industry and power plant intake, but also textile, food processing, paper, leather and other industries in the wastewater treatment process.

You may curious about its working principle, let us explain...

JX-SHG series bar screen is assembled by a unique rake into a set of rotary grating chain.  Driven by the motor reducer, the chain rotary movement against the direction of the water flow, will float on the water surface of the scum salvage, chain running to the upper part of the equipment, due to the groove wheel and curved rail guide, so that each group of rake between the relative movement of the self-cleaning, the vast majority of solids by gravity to fall. The other part is relying on the reverse movement of the sweeper to stick in the rake on the debris clean.

According to the direction of water flow chain is similar to the grille, in the rake chain shaft assembled on the rake gap can be selected according to the conditions of use. When the rake to the fluid in the solid suspended solids separation can ensure that the water flow smoothly through. The whole working process is continuous, can also be intermittent.
