What is Sludge Dewatering Equipment?

The body is a filter device formed by fixed ring and moving ring stacked on each other, and the screw shaft runs through it. The front section is the concentration section, and the rear section is the dehydration section. The filter slot formed between the fixed ring and the moving ring and the pitch of the screw shaft gradually decrease from the concentration part to the dehydration part, and the screw shaft continuously drives the ring to clean the filter seam to prevent clogging. The rotation of the screw shaft pushes the sludge to be transported from the thickening part to the dewatering part, and under the blocking action of the back pressure plate, a great internal pressure is generated, and the volume is continuously reduced to achieve the purpose of full dehydration.
Features of the equipment: It has a wide range of applications, the equipment is not easy to be blocked, and can run continuously and automatically. But the treatment capacity is small, and the moisture content of the treated filter cake is high.
The principle of belt filter press: after the sedimented sewage is fully mixed with a certain concentration of flocculant in a static dynamic mixer, the tiny solid particles in the sludge aggregate into larger flocculent agglomerates, and the water is separated at the same time. , the flocculated sludge is transported to the gravity dewatering filter belt, and is separated by water under the action of gravity to form a non-flowing sludge. Then it is clamped between the upper and lower mesh belts. After passing through the pre-compression area, the low-pressure area and the high-pressure area are squeezed from small to large. Under the action of shear force, the sludge is further squeezed to achieve a greater degree of muddy water. After separation, a mud cake is formed and discharged.
Equipment features: low power consumption, large processing capacity, high dehydration efficiency, high solid content of mud cake, simple operation and management, and easy maintenance. High degree of automation, continuous production, low noise and long service life. The disadvantage is that the filtering effect is easily affected by factors such as season and temperature.
The principle of plate and frame filter press: in the sealed state, the sludge driven by the high-pressure pump is extruded by the plate and frame, so that the water in the sludge is discharged through the filter cloth to achieve the purpose of dehydration.
Equipment features: simple structure, easy operation, stable operation and convenient maintenance. The selection range of filtration area is flexible, occupies less land, and has strong adaptability to materials, which is suitable for various occasions of small and medium-sized sludge dewatering treatment. The disadvantage is that the feeding port of the filter frame is easy to block, the filter cake is not easy to take out, it cannot run continuously, the processing capacity is small, and the working pressure is low. Unattended, the filter cloth often needs to be cleaned manually.
