The Customer & Basic Conditions

A Saudi MBBR wastewater plant generates 4–5 m³ of sludge per day, with only 0.67% solid content. The client initially targeted our JXDL202 Sludge Dewatering Press, and needed a full set including sludge feed pump and polymer dosing system.
We confirmed the JXDL202 model was perfectly sized for their flow, and matched it with a Model 500 dosing unit pre-assembled on a skid, complete with pipes and valves.

The Core Concern

The client hesitated: they worried the screw press would be complicated to operate and maintain, and questioned whether it was the best choice for their site.

Step 1 — Eliminate doubts with solid advantages

We broke down the strengths clearly:

We added that this mature technology outperforms plate-and-frame filter presses and other dewatering equipment, so operation and maintenance would not become a burden.

Step 2 — Fine-tune the polymer scheme

We suggested a polymer dosage of 1‰ ~ 2‰, and recommended running trials with multiple flocculants to lock in the optimal formula.

Step 3 — Customize for containerized plug-and-play

The client put forward two special requirements:
  • 75mm OD flange opening and 75mm cable sleeve to control odor leakage
  • Integrate JXDL202 press, 500 dosing unit, G20 & G30 feed pumps into one 20ft standard shipping container, forming a fully pre-built plug-and-play system.
 
We confirmed the layout with reserved operating space inside the container.

Final Outcome

One month after technical communication, the customer placed the formal order. In our follow-up check, the client reported stable, trouble-free operation of the whole containerized unit.
