What Is A Press

A press is a mechanical device used to extract liquid or paste from solid materials. It compresses the material through mechanical force so that the liquid or paste inside is squeezed out.

1. The Wide Application of Press

Presses are widely used in many industries such as food, chemical, pharmaceutical, and environmental protection. In the food industry, presses can be used to extract liquid or semi-solid substances such as fruit juice, vegetable juice, and edible oil; In the chemical industry, they can be used to extract useful ingredients such as spices and dyes; In the pharmaceutical industry, they can be used to extract active ingredients of drugs; In the environmental protection industry, they can be used to treat wastewater, sludge, and other wastes.

2. Composition of the Press

• Drive device: responsible for driving the spiral blade to rotate, conveying the screen residue to the end, and squeezing and dehydrating under the resistance of the outlet pressure plate.
• Casing: provides the basic structure and protection of the equipment
• Spiral blade: used to convey the screen residue, with sufficient strength and rigidity.
• Extrusion water filter: with a cleaning spray pipeline inside and external pressure water flushing, used to filter and collect the squeezed water.
• Cleaning water pipeline: used for cleaning and flushing to keep the equipment clean and efficient.
• Return water pipeline: recycle and reuse the water discharged during the squeezing process.
• Pressure discharge plate: after the squeezing is completed, the material is forced out and falls into a garbage truck or other container.
